The Enterprise Breeding System (EBS) Global User Support team cordially invites you to a webinar that will provide an overview of the Phenotypic Data Manager (PDM) in EBS and discuss its role in supporting exploratory analysis of phenotypic data. The session focuses on how PDM is used to review data collected from phenotyping activities, explore data distributions, and identify potential outliers or questionable observations. Participants will gain an understanding of where PDM fits in the workflow from data collection to downstream analysis, and how it supports data quality checks prior to formal statistical analysis.
EBS is an open-source breeding informatics software being developed for crop breeding programs serving resource-poor farmers in Africa, Asia and Latin America. EBS connects, merges and builds upon existing breeding software and data solutions to offer a single powerful tool, so that breeders can focus on using data to create better varieties, faster. Development is led by CGIAR Breeding for Tomorrow Science Program, which supports CGIAR and national agricultural research system programs to adopt the breeding workflows and data management practices required to use EBS.
The webinar is offered in two batches. Please feel free to join the session that best fits your time zone.
