About the event
Â
Every innovation for food, land and water systems needs more than a good idea to reach the people who need it the most. They need champions who can navigate systems, build partnerships, unlock finance, influence policy, and turn evidence into action.Â
Scaling Week 2026 is where those champions come together. From international financial institutions (IFIs), governments and funders to frontline delivery partners, Scaling Week 2026 brings the champions who move innovations to scale into the same space.Â
Convened by the CGIAR Scaling for Impact Program, Scaling Week 2026 brings together these world-leading scaling champions for food, land, and water systems for three days of practical learning, collaboration and momentum.Â
This is not a conference. It is a gathering for people ready to: Â
* Explore the latest frontiers of scaling science and research. Â
* Discover investment-ready innovations which can be scaled to address urgent challenges in food, land and water systems in a climate crisis. Â
* Connect with peers from around the world to drive forward collaborative endeavors for scaling innovation. Â
* Get real-time feedback on scaling strategies from experts, peers, and partners.Â
* Be coached in the most compelling tools, methods and approaches for effective scaling.Â
Scaling Week is designed for the ‘heroes of scaling’ — the people tackling the real challenges of scale, including moving beyond pilots, navigating partnerships, strengthening delivery systems, building investment propositions, and making innovations work in the places where they matter most for the world’s 500 million smallholder farmers.Â
Scaling Week 2026 is not about learning to scale by rote. In addition to the fascinating and enlightening talks and plenaries, it’s a chance to get your own ideas and approaches stress-tested by people who have successfully done it.Â
Bring your opportunities, bottlenecks, and hard-to-solve challenges. Through peer-to-peer exchanges, we will work through them together to discover solutions. Â
Through expert-led bootcamps, as well as coaching and skills sessions, you can strengthen and renew your own scaling practices and those of your colleagues and partners.Â
And because scaling is a collaborative endeavor—a team sport—we’re excited to welcome delegations from organizations dedicated to scaling innovations, so that Scaling Week 2026 serves as an opportunity to strengthen the collective capacity of institutions to effectively deliver returns on investments in scaling projects and partnerships. Check out our offers below. Â
