The world faces interconnected challenges like climate change, inequalities, and shifting consumption patterns, with the Global South struggling with sparse data that limits the local adaptation of digital technologies, while vulnerable populations need tailored, inclusive solutions to address poverty and inequality.
The CGIAR Digital Transformation Accelerator in the CGIAR 2025–2030 portfolio focuses on co-creating inclusive solutions by leveraging advancements in AI, machine learning, modelling, and big data analytics. The goal is to drive improved decision-making, policies, and investments, and to promote the broader adoption of digital tools for sustainable food, land, and water systems transformation.
