Recently becoming a member of the International Land Coalition (ILC), the CGIAR has an opportunity to increase its research on land and natural resources governance, tenure, planning and management – building blocks for sustainable agrifood production systems. This event will highlight recent and current innovative collaborations between ILC and CGIAR centers, that have led to benefits for local communities as well as positive policy outcomes. It will also highlight some of the land tenure work that the CGIAR is developing, and which would benefit from stronger ILC partnership. How this collaboration can be strengthened and improved will be discussed.
