An information session on the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP) 2026 – why the year, what we hope to achieve, what needs to be done, and what you can do to help! The event will be co-hosted by the IYRP Alliance and the Government of Mongolia who were key supporters in the designation of the year and now in its preparation.  Members of the IYRP Alliance will share information on regional and technical working groups covering key issues such as Land Degradation Neutrality, Gender, Land and Climate Change. Some key events in preparation and during the year will be shared. A call for more support from governments, people and organisations will be made, as well as for resources.
