Breeding Resources, CGIAR Breeding for Tomorrow’s entity brokering shared breeding and research services to CGIAR and national partners, is expanding its portfolio with a new drone-based image analysis service for high-throughput phenotyping applications for CGIAR breeders.

In partnership with Hiphen and its PhenoScale® solution, this new service is now accessible to CGIAR users through CGIAR Service Request Portal.

PhenoScale® transforms drone imagery into valuable phenotypic insights. Breeders simply collect field data, upload it to the Cloverfield platform, and receive processed results directly from Hiphen, all through a single, streamlined system designed for scale. Once generated, the data can easily be connected to and processed by the Enterprise Breeding System, the CGIAR-developed and maintained breeding data management platform.
