This session explores how drought risk information can be translated into timely action, resilient planning, and long-term landscape restoration. Drawing on experiences from Pakistan, Central Asia, and global initiatives such as El Niño preparedness and the Drought Action Catalyst, it highlights emerging approaches to drought monitoring, early warning systems, preparedness, financing, and integrated resilience building across sectors.
