The event will showcase Brazil’s strategy under the Action Agenda, featuring the Acceleration Plan on Agroecology and Family Farming, which aims to scale agroecological practices, bio-inputs, and territorial adaptation strategies, and how it can simultaneously deliver on climate adaptation, mitigation, and food security, while also ensuring social inclusion and justice.
By bringing together negotiators, policymakers, and practitioners, the event will explore how Brazil’s inclusive model of tropical agriculture offers solutions that are scalable and relevant to the Global South. The event is part of the broader narrative of the Axis III of the Action Agenda of COP30 (Transformation of Agriculture and Food Systems), highlighting the synergy between restoration of degraded areas, resilient food systems, and equitable access to healthy food. It reinforces Brazil’s proposal for a global “mutirão” of cooperation, centered on justice, inclusion, and sustainable development.
