The Central American Dry Corridor is one of the world most vulnerable regions to desertification, with impacts on agriculture, food security, and livelihoods, playing an important role in human mobility dynamics in the region, exacerbating other existing drivers of migration and displacement such as poverty, food insecurity, gender-based violence and insecurity. Participants will explore on how integrated actions at the regional level can be taken to foster resilience and enhance adaptation while also addressing the root causes of human mobility.
