World ocean ecosystems, are increasingly disrupted by human activities.  However, the converging stresses they face, amplified by global warming, remain largely invisible.  Consequent existing and potential impacts on human populations on all continents are accelerating and demand increasingly urgent proactive action.   This presentation will spell out some of the key threats, and actions that can be taken to mitigate them.
