Representing the collaborative efforts of CGIAR Centers, partners, and stakeholders pivotal in its creation, ICARDA and ICRISAT have launched the CGIAR 2030 Global Strategy for Resilient Drylands (GSRD) – a pioneering initiative poised to transform dryland agriculture and foster thriving, resilient livelihoods within dryland communities worldwide. This event will focus on implementing the GSRD, emphasizing the optimization of collective expertise, knowledge, and innovation to benefit rural communities and marginalized groups in dryland areas. Furthermore, it will underscore the significant contributions of partners and CGIAR research centers in formulating and actualizing this strategy.
