This side event will bring together experts, negotiators, and organizations engaged in adaptation indicators work to share insights, reflect the outcomes of COP29, and exchange ideas to improve the process and outcome of the remaining part of the UAE-Belem Work Programme. Focusing on highly vulnerable sectors such as water and food & agriculture in Africa and through an interactive round table discussion, attendees will consider critical aspects like gender, social inclusion, and institutional capacity building.
